August will mark 2 years on Aminus3. My goal was to post pix that individually told a story. You can say that's true with any picture but of all the crap I wrote here two years ago and amended almost one year ago, this much I still believe: "what stops me in my tracks usually is an individual picture, all by itself and there's a story in the image. It's stand alone. No other picture is necessary or complementary of it. It is that picture that I now try to take."

So, how've I done--not too well in my estimation. I've learned a little and done some OK stuff but generally, my work appears safe and sanguine.

The few comments I receive, are usually for my "pretty pictures." Kids, semi-landscapes, the like. That's not what I'm trying to do and I'm going to try to do less of that. You won't want to frame my pix and hang them on your living room wall. That is, if I'm true to my effort and spirit. But, you may see something that's touching. Something that makes you empathize. Something that makes you stop and think, maybe start a discussion, ask why, why is it like that. Maybe...

I'll update this again and tell you what I think. Meanwhile, if you see something that touches you...let me know.
